Mirka power tools have a two-year warranty starting from the date of purchase and covering defects in material and workmanship. By registering your Mirka power tool within 30 days from purchase you will obtain an additional one-year warranty.*

*For the Middle East region (United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt), the warranty is valid for 12 months starting from the day of purchase. The warranty will only be valid if the tool is registered within 30 days of the purchase date. The registration can be done via Register your tool button below or through my.mirka.com.

*For Brazil, the warranty period is valid for 12 months starting from the day of purchase and sales invoice date to the user, 3 months is the legal warranty period (CDC – Brazilian Consumer Defense Code) and plus 9 months granted by Mirka.

*For Turkey, the warranty is valid for 24 months starting from the day of purchase.

NOTE! If the tool is continuously used in industrial applications, the warranty period is one year.

To keep your tool warranty valid, the tool needs to be used, maintained and operated in compliance with the safety and operating instructions. However, if a problem occurs with your Mirka power tool, caused either by a manufacturing defect of the material or by workmanship, Mirka will repair your power tool free of charge in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions.

Warranty Registration

You can register your Mirka power tool via the Register Your Tool button below. The warranty certificates are machine and customer specific, meaning that each tool must be registered separately, and the warranty cannot be transferred to another person or company.

Tools returned for warranty repair must be accompanied by a valid purchase receipt or invoice. For repairs during the additional one year warranty period the tool must be accompanied by a valid receipt or invoice and a valid certificate of the extended warranty.

Submitting a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty repair claim, contact your Mirka dealer or your local Mirka customer support. A warranty claim must be submitted within the warranty period and as soon as possible from the point in time when the defect or problem has been detected.

First, it is very important to take care of your tools and maintain them properly.

Tools that are kept in good condition operate smoothly and with minimal vibration.

Sanders are designed for use with pads of a specific size and weight.

Make sure you are using the correct size sanding pad and that it is in good condition.

Change your sander pad regularly - if it's worn, it will cause
imbalance.

For some product lines, there is the myMirka app with a vibration sensor that helps you monitor vibration levels during your work.

Electric sanders

  1. Plug the power cord into an outlet.
  2. Press and hold the rpm+ button while activating the power button.
  3. The left LED starts flashing, to indicate that Bluetooth is active.

Pair your device

  1. Open the myMirka app and select "add tool".
  2. Select the tool you want to connect to.

Cordless Tools

  1. Press and hold the rpm+ button while activating the power button.

Using the app is the fastest and easiest way to register your tool and there are two ways to register a warranty through the myMirka app:

Α) Warranty registration with Bluetooth connection


*If you are already a registered myMirka user, you can start the registration process from step 2.

1. Download or open myMirka

Download and open the app from App Store or Google Play.
Fill in the registration form that appears when you open my Mirka or open it manually via the icon.

2. Connect your tool

Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device.
Plug the power cord of your tool into the outlet.
Press and hold the + button while turning on the tool with the On/Off button. Bluetooth is active when the left LED is green.
Scan and connect the sander via your mobile device.

3. Complete warranty registration

Press the Register warranty button on the start page.
Double check that the tool's serial number and product name are automatically displayed on the form.
Enter the date of purchase and check that the other information on the form is correct.
Take a photo of your proof of purchase and upload it to the form.
Submit the warranty registration form.
You will receive an e-mail confirming that your registration has been submitted.
The same information is also stored in myMirka, in the settings.

 

Β) Warranty registration without Bluetooth connection

If you are already a registered myMirka user, you can start the registration process from step 2

1. Download or open myMirka

Download and open the app from App Store or Google Play.
Fill in the registration form that appears when you open my Mirka or open it manually via the icon.

2. Start warranty registration

Select the warranty registration icon in the myMirka app.

 

3a. Find and scan the serial number (S/N) barcode label attached to the product packaging.

3b. Scan the product's EAN/UPC barcode located on the label

If the product name does not appear automatically, continue scanning the EAN/UPC barcode from the label on the package.

 

4.Complete warranty registration

  • Enter the date of purchase and check that the other information on the form is correct.
  • Take a photo of your proof of purchase and upload it to the form.
  • Submit the warranty registration form.
  • You will receive an e-mail confirming that your registration has been submitted.
  • The same information is also stored in myMirka, in the settings.

5. Register your power tool on the Mirka website.

  • You can register your tool by completing the registration form at https://www.mirka.com/warranty_registration/
  • Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation message to your e-mail address including all information about the submitted warranty registration.
  • Keep the extended warranty confirmation in case of repair problems.
